Both domestic and international bodies of research show that the function of the EF area of the brain has a direct effect on professional, educational and personal success of a child. As such, Hummingbird put special emphasis on EF development.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Panada Thanasetkorn, Assistant Director for Early Childhood Development Center, National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University, gives the definition of EF as “high level ability of the brain to control thoughts, emotions, and actions to reach a goal”.
